Kim Thomas - President

Kim Thomas, born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, is an accomplished Accountant, Entrepreneur, Small Business Development Advocate and CEO of KTPS, a Business & Tax Solutions firm headquartered in Broadview, IL.  Kim’s educational background consists of an Accounting Degree from Robert Morris University and a degree in Business Management from Benedictine University.  Kim also obtained her certification in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.  Kim has over 20 years of experience in specializing in business and tax solutions.

As the founder of her nonprofit, KTPS Solutions Clinic, a 501c3 organization, Kim partners with the IRS in providing Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), financial services and workforce development services to underserved communities.

Regina Tanksley - Board Member

Regina is a retired teacher with 20 years of experience. She is recognized for her ability to develop and implement activities that improve students’ learning and behavioral skills. Regina focused on communicating openly with parents and administrators regarding students’ growth and well-being.

Regina holds multiple Degrees. Her first is a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Roosevelt University. A master’s in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University and a second master’s in Curriculum and Development with an endorsement in ESL from Olivet Nazarene University.

On November 6, 2023, she and her three partners opened the Broadview Dream Center, LLC, a co-working space in the western suburbs. As the business manager, Regina oversees the company’s day-to-day operations while providing a professional atmosphere to help individuals and small businesses create a positive first impression on clients.

The mission is to equip individuals, freelancers, startups, and small businesses with a cost-effective, flexible, and professional work environment to increase productivity and improve work-life balance. Additionally, the co-working space offers networking opportunities and encourages collaboration among members.  At the same time, it fosters productivity, creativity, and community.
